Earlier today I saw the very sad news that Toni Brown (1952-2008), a sparkling poet who was a Cave Canem fellow with me in Esopus in 1998, just passed away. She had a ready laugh and smile, was as genuine and warm as your good friend, and could write her dreads off.Reggie H. has a loving little tribute up to Toni at the Noctuary, so please drop by there if you can.
